At Alder, we believe that learning is a partnership. Students bring their unique self, experiences, and motivation to the table while teachers bring the expertise, experience, and materials to help make each student's dream a reality. Alder's teaching practices honor the individual and their unique learning style. Alder understands that learning is a process and that progress is rarely linear. By leveraging the power of assessment and data, Alder helps students gain a new perspective on their growth journey and navigate the bumps in the road with clarity, determination and focus.
Alder is a small, teacher-owned business. When you choose Alder for your education needs, you are partnering with an organization that values the art and discipline of teaching over business strategy. We are not simply selling you a service or delivering a product, we are designing a bespoke learning experience just for you. At Alder, we value craftsmanship. Each learner profile and lesson plan is individually developed with the learner in mind and with rigorous attention to detail. Finally, Alder is relentlessly goal-oriented. Our aim is not to retain students indefinitely, but instead to work in a strategic manner so that students can efficiently complete tutoring having achieved their goals and feeling better equipped to continue their own learning journey.
